Bio
Kathleen Wayton was appointed the role of chief information officer in July 2017. Ms. Wayton, previously served as Southwest’s vice president of corporate delivery for operations and reservations,and reports to President Tom Nealon
Ms. Wayton joined Southwest in 2004 as a director in technology in charge of the enterprise data team, according to her corporate bio. She helped launch of the airline’s international air service in 2014, and led technology system integration when Southwest merged with AirTran. Prior to Southwest Airlines, Kathleen worked at Sabre/American Airlines.
