Bio
Kim began her UPS career in July 2000 as an Application Project Leader in the I.S. Customer Technology Portfolio in Alpharetta, GA. In March 2001, she was promoted to Project Manager, followed by a promotion to Systems Manager in July 2004. Kim relocated to Timonium, MD in 2008.
In 2012, Kim relocated to Louisville, KY and was promoted to Sr. Director, Applications Development, in the Transportation Technology Group in February 2013.
In this assignment, Kim was responsible for Hub and Gateway Systems, Ground Transportation Systems and Worldport Systems. She led the successful deployment of Feeder Efficiency initiatives including Auto Arrival and Departure and the 2014 TTG Peak Program include the deployment of new visibility solutions, Independent Contract and Expedited (ICE) tool and Dynamic Interactive Viewer (DIV).
Kim was promoted to her current position in 2015 in Louisville, KY. She is responsible for the UPS Airline and Global Transportation Technology groups.
Kim holds a bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, a bachelor’s in Computer Science from Spelman College, a master’s in Computer Science from University of Southern California, and a master’s certification in Project Management from Stevens Institute of Technology.
