Sholto Macpherson is an award-winning columnist, publisher and keynote speaker on online accounting technology for SMEs and accounting firms. He has reported on business technology since 2000 for various industry magazines and broadsheet newspapers, and published the blog DigitalFirst.com, about online accounting and its impact on the accounting profession, since 2011.

Sholto is the head of content for the Sydney-based Accounting Business Expo (4,000 attendees), and runs the Tech Exchange conference for one of the world’s largest accounting bodies, CPA Australia (150,000 members). Sholto regularly judges awards for outstanding performers in IT services, technology media and enterprise innovation. Sholto lives in Sydney next to the beautiful beach of Maroubra and frequently travels to San Francisco for tech conferences.
