About this Constellation ShortList™

To be a player for the SMB payroll space (100 to 5,000 employees / payees), vendors need to provide capabilities for payees to understand and manage their paychecks. They also need to enable payroll managers to efficiently monitor and manage the payroll cycle and take advantage of the cloud as a deployment form. More and more, the capability to have an “always-on” payroll matters for enterprises, meaning that all payroll-relevant events are instantly calculated and the payroll is always ready and processed.

Artificial Intelligence is changing enterprise automation substantially and HCM is no exception. Vendors need to have enabled AI based automation in at least three of the five key HCM automation areas – with tangible success. To enable customers to uptake AI as well, vendors need to upgrade their Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) capabilities with respet to AI.

  • More than 87500 customers and over 1.5 million users in the 1,000–3,000 EE SMB segment
