FinTech Company in Hyper-Growth Mode Moves Communications to the Cloud
Betterment, a company at the forefront of the FinTech ( financial technology) disruption, grew rapidly from a small start-up with eight employees to a mid-sized company with 200 employees and over $8 billion in assets under management (AUM). As Betterment’s workforce grew, its legacy PBX-based communications system became increasingly cumbersome, costly, and limiting for scaling alongside the business. Betterment needed a communications system that could scale up to keep pace with its rapid growth. In 2015, Betterment selected Dialpad to modernize communications and meet the needs of its highly mobile workforce. This case study documents Betterment’s journey selecting and implementing Dialpad’s cloud-based communications platform.
