I spent the first chapter of my career in finance and audit, and my current chapter is as a public-company CHRO. As a 3-time CHRO of global and public companies, my award-winning work has been to enhance shareholder value through strategic business growth and leading business and culture transformations, including sale of a public company.
As the Chief Human Resources Officer for Encore Capital Group (Encore), I am responsible for overseeing people, culture, communications, and ESG, providing strategic vision and enterprise leadership. One of my proudest accomplishments was spearheading the successful move to have Encore's global entities certified by the Great Place to Work Institute. In 2024, Encore became Great Place to Work-Certified™ in in Costa Rica, France, India, Portugal, United Kingdom, and the United States.
As the chair of Encore’s Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) Steering Committee, I led the development of the company’s first global ESG strategic roadmap and plan. Early wins included improvements in ISS scores, the launch of our first company ESG webpage, and enhanced ESG disclosures in our Annual Report. More recently, we published our third ESG Report.
In 2023, I was honored to be recognized by 50/50 Women on Boards as one of “50 Women to Watch for Boards” in North America.
