Tricia Wang is on a relentless quest to ensure technology serves humanity. As an executive coach, advisor, and founder of Sudden Compass, Tricia has guided industry giants like Google, Spotify, and P&G, uncovering game-changing customer insights that drive growth and shift data from a cost center to a strategic asset. Her work bridges the gap between digital transformation and human needs, collaborating directly with C-suite leaders across marketing, product, and data functions. Her global insights, gathered from China to Peru, have been featured in top publications such as Quartz, New Yorker, Buzzfeed, Techcrunch, The Atlantic, Al Jazeera, Slate, Wired, The Guardian, and Fast Company.

 

Driven by her belief that individuals and communities should have agency over their data, has led her to early stage tech and policy-related work. She co-founded CRADL (Crypto Research and Design Lab) in partnership with The World Economic Forum, exploring decentralized technologies that empower data ownership. She served as a member of the World Economic Forum Global Futures Data Council and Climate Coalition. She has advised countless start-ups on data ethics throughout the tech stack.

 

Tricia currently advises Dangerous Ventures and various start-ups in climate, supply chains, and consumer tech. She is a fellow with Harvard University’s Berkman Center for Internet & Society, US Japan Leadership Program, Data & Society and previously at Geo Tech Atlantic Council.
