Known for booms and busts, startups have come and gone in every wave and a few iconic names have survived. Big ideas, amazing talent, and smart capital have provide the ingredients for success.  As the region enters an unprecedented wave of layoffs and job transfers out of region, will Silicon Valley survive this next boom and bust? And, will the valley remain the pre-eminient global innovation and tech hub.
