Rusty Patel, Tenneco senior vice president and chief information officer, is responsible for leading the company’s global information technology transformational strategies, digital operations and services, and data privacy and security functions.

Patel joined Tenneco in February 2018 with an extensive background in information technology spanning more than 25 years. Most recently, he served as vice president, information technology for the building technologies and solutions business at Johnson Controls (JCI). Prior to JCI, Patel held CIO roles with multinational companies including Tyco, VWR International and Motorola, Inc. He began his career with EDS and A.T. Kearney selling and delivering information technology and management consulting services.

Rusty holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Marquette University and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.
