Mary Hodge serves as the Deputy Chief of Staff for Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti. In this role, she oversees the Mayor’s scheduling, operations and field teams along with all local, state and federal affairs. She also leads the Mayor's special events like the Annual State of the City and Women’s Conference. After getting her start in political organizing with EMILY's List, she held senior positions on President Barack Obama's 2008 presidential campaign and Mayor Garcetti’s mayoral campaign, and has led many other efforts for candidates, labor unions, and ballot measures across the country. Mary proudly hails from Akron, Ohio and is an enthusiastic fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns & Cavaliers. She lives in Eagle Rock with her husband, Jimmy, and their dog, Austin.
