Jim Cavalieri is a senior vice president at Salesforce. He is responsible for managing executive priorities, alignment and strategy.
Cavalieri joined Salesforce in 1999 and has served in a variety of leadership roles for the company. Cavalieri was responsible for architecting, building and operating the original Salesforce cloud computing infrastructure and data centers, building the company's IT organization, creating Salesforce’s Security, Technology Compliance and Risk Management programs and establishing the company's Trust organization. Today, Cavalieri focuses on Salesforce's strategic planning, operations, and management analytics and spends time with customers.
Prior to Salesforce, Cavalieri held various technical and management roles at Oracle and also worked as a consultant and systems engineer at Electronic Data Systems (EDS). Cavalieri currently serves as a Board Member for the Lake Tahoe Park Association, coaches competitive soccer, and is a Cornell Silicon Valley Advisor.
Cavalieri holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.
