Mike Zahigian is Amgen’s Chief Information Officer (CIO). 

Zahigian has held roles of increasing responsibility with the company including leadership of the IS organization supporting global commercial operations, corporate functions (finance, human resources, corporate affairs, law, and compliance activities), the US commercial business, global marketing, US government affairs and global value access and policy functions, ownership for Amgen’s information management and analytics organization (which delivered business intelligence, document/content management, collaboration and end user technologies), architect of the company’s global ERP implementation and lead IS architect for corporate functions.

He began his career at Amgen in 2001 as a Programmer/Analyst in the corporate functions’ IS team and worked as a technical lead on major initiatives.

Prior to joining Amgen, Zahigian was vice president, Technology for Sourcemine, a venture-funded technology company where he led the design and deployment of their SaaS to facilitate collaboration between corporate marketing organizations and their agency partners. 

Zahigian has worked toward an MBA at Pepperdine University and has a BA in English with a Biology minor from the University of Southern California.
