Michelle Bonat is a senior technology leader and data scientist with a background spanning AI innovation, software engineering, and financial services. Currently Chief AI Officer at AI Squared (formerly the CTO), she previously held key roles at JPMC leading AI Innovation and an AI CTO at Chase, and at Oracle leading global engineering for financial web applications, spearheading AI initiatives and scaling financial technology globally. Michelle founded her own fintech startup, utilizing ML to extract real time ESG investing signals from public filings. She served as product lead for three companies that were acquired, and at BMO capital markets where she developed new trading products. She holds an MBA from Kellogg School in Finance (where she sits on the MBAi Advisory Board), certifications in LLMs with cloud platforms and is a lead patent inventor on ML technology. Beyond her professional achievements, Michelle is passionate about diversity in tech and contributes to various community initiatives.
