David Levine, a lawyer by trade, is the founder of PlanDataAI, the company providing PlanPort. Bringing his lifetime of experience with technology and his well-known understanding of both the legal and operational challenges facing retirement service providers, he developed PlanPort to be a tool to assist and work with existing teams that have to work with the complex provisions included in plan documents across the retirement industry.
In his separate day job, David is a Principal at Groom Law Group, Chartered, the largest employee benefits law firm in the United States. At Groom, he and his colleagues have been involved in all aspects of the retirement ecosystem for over fifty years. They continue to innovate with creative solutions – including using AI and other innovative solutions – to provide creative and practical legal solutions for their clients.
