Rahul Sood has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Rahul currently holds the position of Chief Product Officer at Pindrop since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked with various startups as an Investor, Advisor, or Board Member starting from January 2015. Some notable startups they worked with include DevRev, Ubyon, Relay, Proshort.ai, and Dasera, among others.
Before joining Pindrop, Rahul held different roles at Palo Alto Networks from 2019 to 2022. Rahul served as the Senior Vice President of Okyo, Prisma Cloud, and Ecosystem and Industry Solutions during their tenure. Rahul also worked as the Senior Director of Product Marketing, Enterprise at Facebook from June 2018 to May 2019.
Rahul's work experience also includes managing roles at Google, where they served as the Managing Director of Google Apps and Search at Work, Senior Director of Product Management, Enterprise Apps, and Global Head of Partnerships, Google Enterprise from 2011 to 2017.
Rahul previously worked at SAP as the Senior Vice President of Product Management, Head of Portfolio and M&A Strategy, and Product Strategy. Rahul played a significant role in leading product management for SAP's cloud native application and light-weight cloud platform.
Rahul started their career as the CEO and Co-founder of Jivanta Interactive Technologies in 2005. Rahul also co-founded Tech Strategy Partners, a management consulting practice, where they served top enterprise software companies and helped define product strategies and improve operations.
Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, Rahul worked at McKinsey and Company as an Engagement Manager from 1995 to 2003.
Rahul Sood completed their education in a chronological manner. Rahul pursued their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, from 1989 to 1993. Following this, they went on to complete their Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in General Management from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, between 1993 and 1995. Prior to their undergraduate studies, they attended Delhi Public School - R. K. Puram from 1987 to 1989, where they focused on the field of Computer Science.
