Minerva Tantoco is an innovator, investor, startup founder, author, advisor, and speaker on Ethical AI, cybersecurity, fintech and health tech. She holds four US patents on intelligent workflow.
Appointed in 2014, Ms. Tantoco served as New York City’s first-ever Chief Technology Officer (CTO). She launched the Mayor’s Office of Technology and Innovation with citywide responsibility for developing and implementing a citywide strategy on technology and innovation, engaging city agencies and the NYC tech ecosystem on emerging tech and its impact on New York City. She promoted an inclusive, equitable tech ecosystem throughout NYC.
