Michele works closely with the University Chancellors and the University's Senior Vice Presidents to support their respective academic, clinical, and administrative operations. She leads the university-wide Office of Information Technology (OIT) and is responsible for coordinating the adoption of technology standards and information policies at the University, orchestrating the delivery of IT support through the University's major operating units and academic units, and establishing practices that improve efficiency, effectiveness, and security of the IT environment. This environment includes research and educational systems, patient management systems, administrative information systems, networks, data centers, cloud computing, desktops, and mobile devices.
