Jody Davids is senior vice president and chief information officer of PepsiCo. PepsiCo products are enjoyed by consumers more than one billion times a day in more than 200 countries and territories around the world, and generated more than $64 billion in net revenue in 2018, driven by a complementary food and beverage portfolio that includes Frito-Lay, Gatorade, Pepsi-Cola, Quaker and Tropicana. PepsiCo's product portfolio includes 22 brands that generate more than $1 billion each in estimated annual retail sales.
Jody assumed the role of global CIO in April 2016 and leads PepsiCo’s Information Technology (IT) function. Through a network of 3,100 associates worldwide, IT focuses on delivering and supporting capabilities that improve business processes, enable associates to connect and collaborate more easily, collect and mine data for analytical insights, and enhance performance across all aspects of PepsiCo’s value chain.
Jody has more than 30 years of experience leading and developing technology functions for large organizations. Over the course of her career, she has worked with Best Buy, Cardinal Health, Nike, and Apple.
In her most recent role before PepsiCo, Jody was CIO for Agrium Inc., the world’s largest agricultural retailer and a leading wholesale producer and distributor of crop nutrients. She led a transformation of Agrium’s IT organization, improving service delivery, integration and costs.
Jody’s professional associations include serving on the board of Premier Inc., which provides performance improvement services to hospitals and other healthcare organizations. Jody earned a bachelor’s degree and MBA from San Jose State University. She is based in Plano, Texas.
