With humble beginnings as a bike shop mechanic, it was a natural transition to go from fixing bikes to fixing IT issues! I’ve built my career on implementing technology services, especially developing public and private cloud solutions for retail, government, technology and finance verticals.
Prior to joining TELUS International in 2012, I was VP of Global Infrastructure at TeleTech, and before that, a Network Consultant for IBM Global Services. In my various positions, I have reduced operating costs by 20+%, implemented cloud-based contact center solutions across 75 delivery centers, and delivered over two billion minutes of VoIP annually while increasing system availability to 99.95%.
Further, my shared services organization was recognized by Gartner as a Magic Quadrant leader in BPO and cloud-based contact center solutions. As CIO at TELUS International, I am continually amazed by the dedication of our team members to find solutions and make things work – from frontline agents to IT specialists, we’re all in the business of customer service.
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering and a Master of Science in Telecommunications, both from the University of Colorado. I’m also a proud Soccer Coach and Cub Scout Pack Leader in my hometown of Littleton, Colorado.
