Prior to Dave's role as Global Head of Insights and Analytics at Digital Realty, he was head of Data Gravitas, a consulting business specializing in data architecture and data strategy. Before this, he was VP of Engineering for GE Digital's IIoT/Machine Learning group and prior to that was CTO of Basho Technologies. Dave has been researching data and Data Gravity for over a decade. He is currently authoring a book about Data Economics and Maximizing the Value of Data. He also holds 10 patents, including the first patent on Cloud Computing and authored a book on virtualisation in 2006.
