Matt is a visionary leader, digital innovation catalyst, artificial intelligence expert and advanced analytics executive who has consistently been a force multiplier for life sciences enterprise value, clinical improvement and patient outcomes.

In 2005, this meant leading a multidisciplinary team of software developers, global osteoporosis KOLs and analysts in the development of a clinical decision support tool for a novel platform at the time, the Palm Pilot; an initiative that was endorsed by the American Medical Association and the US Congress' Bone and Joint Decade's Task Force.

In 2008, his team was the first to leverage emerging thinking in andragogy (adult learning principles) with social networks and integrated media, partnering with then-novel Sermo and Medscape on Continuing Medical Education for hyper-personalized education in neuropsychiatry.

In 2016, he Co-Founded what would grow to become the Medical Analytics and Innovation (MAI) team at Inizio Medical, which has the most experience and the broadest and deepest bench of data science and scientific strategy talent across the industry; the first to deploy Natural Language Processing in SciComms in oncology, the first to build, productionize and publish a complex machine learning model for sentiment analysis in immunology, and the first to productionize advanced AI models for infectious disease landscape analysis and rare disease scientific platform/lexicon development.

8 years later, in 2024, he now leads the Augmented Intelligence practice at Inizio Medical, transforming medical commercialization and catalyzing transformation across the continuum of life sciences.

Matt contributes to the professional community as Co-Chair of the ISMPP AI Task Force, on HCA’s Foresight Committee as AI Workstream Lead, as the Architect of MAPS' Generative AI White Paper, as a frequent keynote speaker, a podcast/LinkedIn Live guest, AI Society Board Member, conference panelist, industry mentor and frequent conference speaker, author and advisor.

Matt is passionate about mental health, paying it forward and advising emerging startups in the disruptive innovation/artificial intelligence space, as well as judging open innovation contests for government, academic and private funders.

Matt avidly volunteers in the NY community, spending time with his friends and loved ones, reading (mostly scifi/fantasy and nonfiction), writing (children’s books (unpublished), nonfiction), enjoys good food and music and walking in nature.

He is a lifelong learner, passionately curious and 100% human.
