Dr. Saxena received his Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from Stanford University with Andrew Ng. He went on to become an accomplished professor at Cornell University. He co-founded Katapult (NSDQ: KPLT), Brain of Things ($8 million ARR), and Caspar AI (Top AI Company by CB Insights).

His awards include SF Business Times 40 Under 40, Google Faculty Award, TR35 Innovator Award by MIT, Eight Innovators to Watch by Smithsonian Institution, NSF Career Award, Microsoft Faculty Fellow, RSS Early Career Award, and Sloan Fellow.

Dr. Saxena has published about a hundred papers in top venues like NeurIPS, ICML & CVPR, with numerous best paper awards and 20,000+ citations. His paper on multi-modal deep learning received the best paper award in 2013 and was re-awarded a 10-year lifetime award in 2023. His multi-modal AI has helped products achieve profitable revenue while remaining interpretable & operating within guard rails.
