Since 2020, Anusha Dandapani has been serving as the Chief Data & AI Services at the United Nations International Computing Centre. In this role, she is responsible for creating and overseeing the growth of Data and AI Services for UNICC. Anusha advises and partners with other UN organizations, Industry and Academia on solving their business problems by leveraging Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Data Science offerings and capabilities.
Previously, Anusha was a Data Science lead at Barclays, where she led several strategic initiatives related to electronic surveillance and financial crime compliance. She was responsible for end-to-end management from requirements to working with the program management and collaborating with data scientists and machine learning teams for delivery. Anusha spent about 15 years in the financial services sector.
Anusha is also an Adjunct professor and teaches a course on Data Visualization and Visual Analytics at NYU School of Professional Studies and Fordham University.
Anusha was featured in the Global Data Power Women List for 2023, 2022 and Data IQ Top 100 Influential People in Data in 2023.
