Quantum computers could allow malicious actors to break the security algorithms that currently protect most information and communication systems, especially healthcare data. Learn more about the Y2Q threat and how quantum computing will break public-key cryptographic protocols, including RSA, DSA, and ECC. This capability will render current encryption mechanisms obsolete.  Criminal syndicates have deployed “harvest now, decrypt later." schemes that will allow for massive cyber attacks and theft.  Leartn how to migrate to new encryption standards is likely going to become necessary as quantum computing advances.
